As Executive Director of the Salvadori Center, Trenton Price is leading with both purpose and precision—expanding access to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts/architecture, and mathematics) education that connects learning to the real world in powerful, hands-on ways. For Trenton, education isn’t just about academics—it’s about equity, opportunity, and possibility.

Trenton is photographed from the chest up, smiling, wearing a blue suit jacket, white button down shirt, gold striped tie, and glasses with his arms crossed in front of his chest. He is in front of a white background.

At the heart of Salvadori’s mission is the belief that architecture, engineering, and the arts can inspire young people to think critically and creatively about the world around them. By making connections between the engineering design process and artistic expression, Salvadori’s programs help students build core life skills—collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking—that transcend any single career path.

Since stepping into the role two years ago, Trenton has helped Salvadori increase its reach by over 40%—a major achievement fueled by something he deeply values: relationships. From school administrators and local elected officials to community leaders and educators, he’s built the trust and momentum that help turn a strong mission into city-wide impact.

“The more relationships and the more people experience the great work of our talented STEAM educators, the more demand for our important work there is.”

Trenton’s leadership was recently recognized when he was named to the 2024 City & State Construction Power 100, honoring his growing influence in connecting educational programming with the built environment and civic life.

Trenton is standing at the back of a colorfully decorated classroom of diverse, elementary school age children. Several students are raising their hands as if to answer or ask a question. Another educator stands at the back of the classroom with Trenton.

CALO’s Role in His Growth

As a leader, Trenton is also a lifelong learner, and he credits CALO as a key source of reflection and growth:

“CALO has been my Professional Learning Community (PLC) in which I can bring data or practices and hear constructive feedback and ideas to help improve my leadership and therefore the reach Salvadori has.”

“I appreciate developing relationships with colleagues that will carry on throughout and past any single Forum conversation. These are peers I look up to, and from whom I have the privilege to learn. That is the magic of CALO to me - that I have the dedicated time to reflect and learn with thoughtful peers.”

Whether he’s growing STEAM access for NYC youth or growing as a leader himself, Trenton brings insight, generosity, and a deep commitment to impact. We’re proud to have him as part of the CALO community.
